FCL Shipping from Germany to Dubai — Full Containers from Hamburg to the UAE
Delta Global moves full containers from Germany and the rest of the EU to Dubai with our own office in Hamburg at the origin end and our head office in Dubai at the destination end. German machinery, automotive parts, chemicals, building products and consumer goods are collected from your supplier, cleared for export in Germany and shipped by sea to the UAE. If you are comparing FCL shipping from Germany to Dubai, you deal with one company at both ends — with clear transit times, all-in pricing and one point of contact from the factory gate in Germany to the container release in Dubai.

UAE Import Duty and Clearance for German Goods
Goods entering the UAE mainland from Germany pay customs duty of 5% of the CIF value for most products, plus 5% VAT. Some machinery and raw materials qualify for reduced or zero duty — tell us the HS code and we confirm the rate before you ship.
If the goods are not for the UAE market — for example German equipment heading on to Afghanistan, Africa or Central Asia — a free-zone or transit entry is usually the better route because it avoids paying UAE duty on goods that only pass through. We advise on the right entry before the container sails, not after it lands.
Why Choose Delta Global Cargo?

The origin side is handled by our own team in Germany, not a third-party agent. Supplier collection, export paperwork and the booking all sit with people who answer to the same company that receives your container in Dubai.

Documents Checked Before Loading
Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and bill of lading are checked against each other before the container is loaded — the cheapest delay is the one that never happens.

FCL Shipping Germany to Dubai — FAQ
How long does FCL shipping from Germany to Dubai take?
A direct sailing from Hamburg takes about 18–22 days port to port; with a transhipment it is 22–28 days. From a German factory to a warehouse in Dubai, plan on 24–34 days including collection, export clearance and UAE import clearance. We confirm the current window when we quote.
Do you have your own office in Germany?
Yes. Delta Global has its own office in Hamburg, so collection, export documents and the booking are handled in-house at the origin, and our Dubai head office handles the destination side.
What import duty applies to German goods in Dubai?
Most goods pay 5% customs duty on the CIF value plus 5% VAT when they enter the UAE mainland. Some categories qualify for reduced or zero duty, and goods moving on to another country can often use a free-zone or transit entry instead. Send us the HS code and we confirm before shipping.
Can you combine goods from several German suppliers into one container?
Yes. Our Hamburg team can collect from several suppliers in Germany and load them into one full container to Dubai, so you have a single bill of lading and a single UAE import declaration.
Do you offer LCL or air freight from Germany to Dubai?
No. This route is full-container (FCL) sea freight only — minimum one 20ft or 40ft container. If you ship smaller volumes, a consolidator will usually be a better fit.
Which container sizes can you ship from Germany?
20ft, 40ft and 40ft high-cube are available on every sailing. For machinery and over-height or over-width loads we also book open-top and flat-rack equipment.
